About HumaMap

Better companies. Better working lives.

We believe the two should reinforce each other.

HumaMap helps people understand how they work and helps companies use that understanding to build stronger teams, better leadership and more resilient organisations.

August Kring, founder of HumaMap

Why we're building HumaMap

Europe will not become more competitive through technology alone.

We also need stronger companies built around the people inside them.

That means companies where people understand themselves and each other better, responsibility is clearer and differences become useful instead of creating unnecessary friction.

Technology should help people contribute, develop and do their best work. It should also help companies become more capable and resilient.

I believe better companies and better working lives can reinforce each other.

HumaMap is our contribution to making that practical.

Work is changing. We have an opportunity to make it better.

AI and digital technology are changing roles, tasks and how companies organise work.

But technology alone does not determine whether work becomes better.

It also depends on how responsibility is given, how people's strengths are used, how teams work together and how companies adapt around them.

30%

of workers in the EU report having more skills than their current job requires.

At the same time, Eurofound reports a decline in workers' ability to influence collective work processes and apply their own ideas.

Companies already have capability they are not fully using.

The opportunity is not simply to ask people to work more. It is to understand people better and organise work so more of what they can contribute is actually used.

European Industry 5.0

Technology should strengthen people, not make them secondary.

The European Commission's Industry 5.0 vision looks beyond efficiency alone. It describes a European industry that is human centric, resilient and sustainable.

Human centric

Technology should support people and their ability to contribute, not treat them simply as resources to optimise.

Resilient

Companies should be able to adapt when technology, roles, teams and circumstances change.

Sustainable

Progress should create value that can last for businesses, people and society.

Where HumaMap fits

HumaMap contributes most directly to human centric work and organisational resilience.

We want technology to help people understand themselves and each other better, help companies use people's capabilities more effectively and reduce dependence on knowledge that exists only in individual people's heads.

What we believe

The principles behind HumaMap.

01

People are more than their CV.

Experience and skills matter. So do motivation, ownership, judgement, collaboration and how someone actually approaches their work.

02

Understanding should lead to better choices, not labels.

Better information should help people understand themselves, make better choices and work better with others. It should not put them into a box.

03

Different does not mean better or worse.

There is no universally ideal HumaMap. What matters is the person, the work, the team and the situation around them.

04

Technology should strengthen human judgement.

AI can help organise complexity, recognise relevant patterns and make information easier to use. Important decisions about people should remain human.

05

Better work should be better for people and companies.

Companies should become stronger. People should have better opportunities to contribute, develop, take responsibility and do their best work. Those goals should reinforce each other.

06

People can change.

HumaMap is not a permanent personality label. People develop, roles change and working relationships evolve. A HumaMap should be able to grow with them.

Our mission

Help people understand how they work, and help companies put that understanding to work.

Our vision

A Europe of stronger companies where more people can do their best work.

Human first. By design.

HumaMap works with professional information about people. That creates a responsibility to build the product in a way that respects the people behind the profiles.

01

Professional information only

HumaMap is built around professional information such as how people work, collaborate, communicate, take responsibility and what they bring.

HumaMap does not collect, require or infer health information, political opinions or other GDPR special category data.

02

Your profile stays yours

Individuals create and control their own HumaMaps.

Companies can access the professional information needed to use HumaMap at work, but the individual's underlying profile remains theirs.

03

No ads. No selling personal data.

HumaMap does not sell personal information or build advertising profiles.

The value comes from the product itself.

04

Human decisions stay human

HumaMap can organise information, provide context and offer guidance. It should not replace human judgement in important decisions about people.
